Since I wanted to move from the breadboard to a professional PCB, I started learing how to use Altium Designer. I printed 2 proto boards. The first one had too small pads, making soldering difficult.

  • pcb
  • first prototype PCB
  • in the box

  • assembled
  • testing

Current measurment with C64 as load (C64 here is using an expansion card on exp port), no drive:

  • current measurment

Measuring voltage ripple on the left pic (around 20-30 mV peak to peak) and absolute voltage on right pic, measurments taken from PSU board:

  • ripple on 5V line_a
  • nominal voltage with C64 ON_a
